Tickets to Halesowen’s Drive-thru Santa experience taking place on Saturday 19th December has sold out within minutes of sales going live!
Little Cornbow street in Halesowen will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland this weekend as Lifecentral Church, Halesowen BID and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council Community Forum create an opportunity for families to meet the man himself in an innovative and covid-secure way.
Guests will drive through festively decorated archways accompanied by live entertainment before being greeted with a gift from Father Christmas with all proceeds from the event donated to Operation Santa Dudley.
Andy Hancock, NextGen Pastor at Lifecentral said: “We’re excited to welcome everyone this weekend and we’re overwhelmed with the level of support we’ve received. We wanted to do something to brighten up everyone’s Christmas after such a hard year”
“We’ve gone over and above on precautions to ensure we’re covid-secure for the event, everything will be contactless. We want it to be a safe and successful event.”
Vick Rogers, Halesowen BID Manager said: “It’s wonderful to be a part of this event, the BID team were so excited to hear about Life central’s plan to turn Little Cornbow into a Drive-Thru Santa’s Grotto”.
“It’s so important for us as a town to find innovative and fresh ideas on how we can connect to visitors and residents. Events like this not only bring joy to families across the region, but it also provides much-needed support for charities like Operation Santa”.
